i2O, the smart water network solutions company, today announced that it has passed its first Achilles UVDB Audit with an impressive overall score of 95%.
Achilles Information Ltd are a global leader and partner of choice for supply chain risk and performance management. They collect, validate, monitor and analyse supplier data, to help buyers reduce cost and risk. UVDB (Utilities Vendor Database) is the utility industry’s pre-qualification system, used by many water utilities, to monitor and maintain supply chain standards.
i2O was assessed at its Southampton office and manufacturing premises for performance against quality, environmental and health & safety standards. The two-day audit took place in February and included a rigorous examination of all of the relevant policies, procedures and processes to check compliance with legislation and customer requirements.
The results of the audit provide water utilities with further confidence in i2O and the solutions they supply to the water industry.
Joel Hagan, chief executive at i2O, comments: “We pride ourselves in the quality of everything we do. We are ISO 19001, 14001 and 27001 accredited already, and audited by OEM clients to the most exacting global standards. We are pleased to add Achilles to the list of our accreditations. We don’t just pay lip service to quality, we live and breathe it, demand the highest levels of performance of ourselves, and seek continuously to improve.”
